Welcome to FurriGuardian Pups. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

 1. About This Website

FurriGuardian Pups operates as a dedicated American Akita preservation program, not a commercial marketplace or a pet store. We do not support online shopping carts, instant digital checkouts, or unvetted commercial distributions. Our primary purpose is to educate the public about the American Akita breed and to document our preservation work.

This website is operated by Ramphis Ford from Rapid City, South Dakota.

 2. Intended Use

This website is intended for:

  • Individuals seeking educational information about the American Akita breed

  • Prospective handlers researching responsible breeding practices

  • Families interested in applying for companion placement through our program

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, this site by any third party.

 3. No Commercial Transaction

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer for sale. All companion placements are subject to a separate written agreement and our Handler Guidelines . A uniform preservation cost recovery fee of $850 applies to all placements. This fee offsets programmatic expenses, including health testing, veterinary care, and socialization protocols. It is not a retail purchase price.

 4. Health Guarantee

Our Akita Puppy Health Guarantee is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The guarantee defines the specific coverage, exclusions, and remediation terms that apply to every companion placed through our program.

 5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and data, is the property of FurriGuardian Pups and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content without our prior written consent.

6. Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure the information on this site is accurate and current. However, we make no warranties or representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information. Breed standards, health testing protocols, and legal requirements may change. You should independently verify all critical information.

7. Third-Party Links

This site contains links to external organizations, including the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, the American Kennel Club , and the Akita Club of America .
